Noverant Adds Government-Approved Data Centers In Canada

Raleigh, NC - Noverant is pleased to announce its further expansion with data center operations in Canada that meet critical requirements, including SSAE 16 and Canadian security and privacy laws. The government-approved data centers will utilize Noverant's proven architecture, providing a cost-effective and scalable solution for clients of any size, ranging from small businesses to large governments and corporations.

Commenting on the expansion, Jim Tringas, VP Global Accounts, stated: "Providing in-country data storage and processing is a critical element for some Canada-based clients. While our global operation includes data centers in the United States, South America, Europe and Asia Pacific, we decided to further invest and expand our operations to address the unique needs of certain Canadian clients, particularly those in regulated industries."

According to government data, the responsibilities of about 12,000 enterprises and 820,000 of their employees are defined by the Canada Labour Code. These federally regulated employees account for six percent of all Canadian workers and are in sectors including healthcare, banking, transportation, communications, mining and most federal Crown corporations.

Noverant's fully-compliant solution is proven and available immediately, providing a cost-effective, low-risk, turn-key learning management system for Canada-based clients.
